Itinerary and highlights
Kerið is a volcanic crater formed 6500 years go. The contrast between the red volcanic rock and the blue-green water makes it one of Iceland’s most colorful natural sites.
We have the option to visit a working greenhouse where tomatoes are grown year-round with geothermal energy. Here, travelers can see how Icelandic innovation meets agriculture, with an option to taste tomato-based dishes or drinks.
We will walk along viewing paths to see one of Iceland’s most powerful waterfalls as glacial water plunges into a deep canyon. On sunny days, it’s common to spot rainbows forming in the mist. Truly one if Iceland's biggest Gems.
At Haukadalur valley, travelers will explore bubbling hot springs and watch Strokkur erupt every few minutes, sending steaming water high into the air. The area also offers walking paths around geothermal features.
This family-owned dairy farm offers visitors a chance to see Icelandic farm life up close. Travelers can taste homemade ice cream and enjoy the rural landscape from the farm’s café.
At this UNESCO World Heritage Site, we will walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates and see the site of Iceland’s first parliament. The park also offers dramatic landscapes of rifts, lakes, and lava fields.
