Þingvellir National Park, where they can walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.
Travelers will explore the Geysir Geothermal Area, where they can see steaming vents, bubbling hot springs, and the famous Strokkur geyser erupting regularly. They will have time to walk around the geothermal landscape, take photographs, and experience Iceland’s powerful volcanic activity up close.
Travelers will spend approximately 30 minutes watching Strokkur Geyser, which erupts every few minutes and sends hot water high into the air. They will have time to enjoy the geothermal surroundings and take photographs.
Travelers will spend approximately 45 minutes at Gullfoss Waterfall, where they can admire the powerful two-tiered falls plunging into a dramatic canyon. They will walk to the viewpoints, enjoy the scenery, and take photographs.
Travelers will spend approximately 45 minutes exploring Kerið Volcanic Crater. They can walk around the crater’s rim, admire its vivid red volcanic rock and blue-green lake, descend toward the water when conditions allow, and take photographs.
